DRBA's Environmental Education Changes Lives of Youth

The Dan River Basin Association (DRBA) has provided hands-on environmental education programs to thousands of youth throughout the basin since 2008. In a little over a decade, DRBA has educated over 25,000 youth about the importance of protecting our rivers and streams through programs such as Trout in the Classroom (TIC), Streamside Trees in the Classroom (STIC), and Forest School. DRBA often hears stories from teachers and parents that a child's life has been impacted because of our program. Read more
Spring Rain Barrel Workshop Series Begins

DRBA's spring rain barrel workshop series has launched with the first workshop held this past week in Martinsville, Virginia. Two more workshops will be held this spring, with one this month in Danville and a May workshop in Greensboro, NC. The April and May workshops are sponsored by Carter Bank and Trust.
