Trail Building at Schoolfield Elementary

Volunteers will get dirty to make a trail that will impact generations to come!
Join DRBA and friends to create an educational trail behind the school.
What to expect:
We will need volunteers of all abilities to help with the trail! No experience necessary. Volunteers will be raking, clipping, and clearing the future trail path to make an open space for students to walk on. We need volunteers interested in using hoes to dig up dirt to clear the trail, clip out roots, and finish the trail with lots of walking to compact the dirt. While this trail is small, it takes a lot of hands to make light work!
What to bring:
your can-do attitude!
Long sleeve/pants
Sturdy shoes/boots
Gloves
Water Bottle/Snacks (required- you will need them!)
Clippers, rakes and garden hoes if you have them
What we will provide:
Extra water in a cooler
Extra Gloves
Other trail-building materials
Waivers to sign
Beginner course to trail clearing
We will meet at the front of the school and walk to the trail together before each session.
