High Rock Ford Trail Cleanup Day!

Join us at High Rock Ford Historic Trail for a trail cleanup day!
Volunteers will mainly focus on cleaning the trail's "corridor" and footpath. This means we will use various garden tools to cut extra roots, grade the surface, and pack it down for the most sustainable trail. Volunteers are also needed to do cleanups as needed. You do not need any landscaping or trail-building experience.
You are welcome to volunteer during the entire event, but if you can only give a portion of the time, we would love to have you!
When you arrive at the site, please park carefully in the gravel lot. Parking is limited, carpooling is advised.
Be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and prepare to get VERY dirty. A long-sleeved shirt is advised.
Waivers will be signed to participate in this event when you arrive.
WHAT TO BRING:
- If you have tools such as a hand saw, loppers, a hoe, and rake, please bring them!
Work gloves are recommended. - Water to drink
- Your enthusiasm and great energy!
