March FSO Bear Slide in Eden

At 1:30 in the afternoon, after DRBA's virtual Annual Meeting (learn more) guests are invited to an easy guided out-and-back one-mile hike in Eden, NC to view the Bear Slide, a Natural Heritage Area. Meet at the Salvation Army Eden Store parking lot 346 W. Kings Hwy, Eden, NC (GPS: 36.490791, -79.749864). Those joining the hike should dress accordingly and be prepared to sign a waiver.
For safety and respect for outing participants, DRBA strongly encourages you to be vaccinated and to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when in a group setting, even outdoors.
